COVID-19 Response Update
News /by gterpe@washcorp.comDominion’s top priority is the health and well-being of our workforce. Dominion has long been committed to the health, safety and well-being of its employees and to establishing strong, lasting and respectful relationships with the people and communities with whom it works. During this unprecedented time, dominion has implemented several precautionary measures within our operations in response to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Implementing preventative measures has been deemed necessary given the rapid spread of the virus, the remote location of the Ekati mine and the high frequency of air travel required for our workforce to access the mine. Dominion is working to ensure that social distancing practices are in place and being followed, risk assessments are completed for the workplace, and health screening is done before employees return to site. As well, we continue to work with various governments and health authorities. Learn more about the precautionary measures Dominion has implemented in response to the COVID-19 pandemic.
